Inclusion is the core philosophy of Spirited Play Labs. We are here for it all!
We know how isolating having young children can be, and how stressful navigating the overwhelming terrain of pediatric therapy can be. That’s why community + connection are central to us at SPL.

Who we are:
We are childhood professionals who want to see every family explore the joys of childhood. Giggles, tears, flapping, hiding, or meltdowns!

What We believe:
Kids and their parents need safe places for play, comfort, and companionship - particularly ones who are disabled.

Our Promise to you:
We aspire to be your safe + accessible community hub. We are always learning to better support you and your children.

Your individual parenting differences and your unique child will be respected.

We support and value collaboration across the many types of therapies available and aim to be a valued part of that journey.

We aspire to reduce the stress of caregiving for your neurodivergent, disabled, or behaviorally different child.

We offer parent coaching and share what we know with you, so you can feel confident about the choices you have to make.

We practice philosophies of anti-racism and neurodiversity to create a safe space for all.

Our goal is to help you build positive relationships between you + your community.

Everyday items are a staple here - we teach using everyday items so learning is accessible to all.
Meet our Staff
The friendly faces you'll see at SPL!
Spirited Play Labs was started by our owner Lindsay Teitelbaum, M.S. CCC-SLP, who worked as a speech therapist in the area in private practice, public school assessment teams, and clinic-based services.
In 2021, after observing a lack of a community space for special needs families, she began to bring her vision to life.
Our space officially opened January of 2022 as a resource for all families to be together in a safe environment, learn from local specialists, and support their child’s development at any stage.
SPL focuses on providing an inclusive social space for children – one that utilizes neurodiversity-affirming principles and therapies, including DIR/Floortime, Learn With Less, parent coaching, and other strengths-based models.
All of our friendly staff are in school studying early childhood education and are on-site to provide hands-on support for all families!
We are so excited to meet you!
